Steel resistant to atmospheric corrosion. Thanks to the alloys that contribute to the formation of a permanent and self-renewing brown protective layer, Corten® steel offers, in addition to its excellent mechanical strength, high corrosion resistance to atmospheric influences, up to 8 times higher than conventional structural steel. Corten® steel sheets require no additional galvanizing costs and, when painted, keep maintenance costs to a minimum because they are made of high-strength steel that protects itself from corrosion if the paint layer is scratched or chipped.
APPLICATIONS: Intake pipes, chimneys, railway carriages, containers, silos, bridges, decorative and architectural structures, continuous facades (construction sector), railings, road barriers, etc.

Microalloyed steels are high-strength steels for cold forming and bending. Due to their high chemical purity and fine-grained structure, these steels exhibit good fatigue resistance, high toughness, excellent weldability, and high yield strength values, enabling superior cold forming performance compared to structural steels. These steels therefore simultaneously meet two requirements: good cold formability and higher mechanical properties than conventional press steels, thanks to the addition of microalloying elements such as niobium and vanadium.
APPLICATIONS: Chassis and stampings for vehicles, trucks and trailers, industrial scaffolding, agricultural equipment, pipelines, etc.

The exceptional strength and toughness of these steels results in significantly reduced thickness compared to standard steel. The use of these specialty steels therefore results in lower weight, higher capacities, more efficient management, and a longer product lifespan. The fine-grained microstructure also guarantees the steel’s cold formability and excellent weldability.
APPLICATION: Beams and chassis for transporting goods, crane arms and lifting structures for heavy lifting operations, buckets and arms for earthmoving equipment, road bridges and overpasses, large-scale industrial structures, etc.

Pressure vessel steel is used for all applications where the internal pressure is higher than atmospheric pressure. Its key characteristic is its resistance to pressure at any temperature. This steel therefore guarantees safety and tightness in high-temperature and high-pressure applications. It is available in a basic version for conventional pressure vessels and boilers, or with higher resistance to high temperatures/pressures and high mechanical stresses due to the higher chromium, molybdenum, and nickel content.
APPLICATIONS: Compressed gas vessels, boilers, gas tanks, tank trucks, burners, heat exchangers and piping, laser cutting, plasma cutting, and flame cutting, etc.
